The Brown & Joseph Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of the companies public website, including development of web content and management of the associated technology platforms. They will work closely with Sales, IT and other functional areas in the company to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of website content. They will author, edit and proof website content. They will be responsible for the project management of all website initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining the website standards and ensuring compliance with all advertising and professional responsibility rules and regulations.
The Marketing Manager will lead initiatives that optimize and grow the companies public presence through digital channels. They will play a key role in the evaluation of new Marketing products, particularly those that pertain to web and mobile technologies. They will be the primary contact for related web technology vendors, who provide video hosting and quality assurance services. The Marketing Manager will provide intelligence on web traffic, search patterns and other related analytics. They will serve as the primary point of contact for the IT department on domain registrations and website troubleshooting.  The Marketing Manager will assist the Director of Sales with development of overall marketing strategy, policies, budget and roadmap.
Essential Job Functions include:

  1. Manage the Firm’s public website,,
  2. Oversee daily operations, incident management, business processes/procedures and quality control. 
  3. Develop web content strategy and author content for the website, working with sales and staff to regularly assess and update content.
  4. Generate intelligence from website systems, including traffic and search analytics.  Proactively identify trends and opportunities to drive marketing systems strategy and grow digital content.
  5. Support the business development and marketing needs of the company’s Business Development Department and other functional groups.  Respond to information requests, prepare reports and provide status for marketing systems initiatives. Assist with the evaluation of technology tools, budget preparation and other administrative functions.
  6. SEO Optimization:  Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on click through rates, traffic, and conversions. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines
  7. Company Brand Awareness: Trade Shows, Video Production and Advertising Marketing Messages Webinar Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
  8. Marketing Collateral: Works closely with Sales to create and develop relevant marketing collateral for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
  9. Messaging: Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends. Press Releases, Advertising, LinkedIn articles, etc.
  10. CRM Management: Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems. Track, Analyze and Prepare summary of activity, impressions, conversion rates, etc.

Job Requirements

  1. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, MSOffice.
  3. Knowledge of content management systems, website standards and digital marketing tools. Strong analytical and database skills with proficiency in methods of information acquisition, analysis and dissemination. Proficiency with Google Analytics, SEO and Photoshop a plus.
  4. Superior writing, editing and proofing skills for generation of web content.
  5. Ability to prioritize, drive and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Superior project management skills and strong creative problem-solving techniques. Must be very comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  6. Proficiency in marketing automation, social media and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
  7. Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization. Proficiency in web analytics software and keyword tools
